The movie, released in February 2003, was a huge success, earning over $177 million at the box office. It also featured talented actors like Annie Parisse, Thomas Lennon, and Bebe Neuwirth.

According to Kate Hudson, filming “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” was a unique experience that harked back to the old-school Hollywood process. She and Matthew McConaughey spent four months together shooting the film and later reunited for another rom-com, “Fool’s Gold,” which took six months to shoot. Hudson mentioned that such long shoots are rare these days, except for big-budget movies like Marvel films.

During an interview, Hudson shared her thoughts on a potential sequel to the film. She wondered how their characters, Andie and Ben, would be now if they were still together. She imagined that they might have gotten married and had kids but could be feeling miserable. Andie, being ambitious, would probably be running something important.

Hudson has remained close with many of her co-stars, including Kathryn Hahn, who played her best friend Michelle in the film. They even reunited for another project called “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” in 2022.

Kate Hudson’s career took off after “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” and she starred in several popular romantic comedies like “You, Me and Dupree” and “Fool’s Gold.” She also ventured into music and announced plans to release her debut album in 2023.

Matthew McConaughey, known for his breakout role in “Dazed and Confused,” became a rom-com staple after “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” He appeared in films like “The Wedding Planner,” “Failure to Launch,” and “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.” McConaughey’s career expanded to more dramatic roles, including critically acclaimed performances in “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Mud,” and “True Detective.” He is happily married to Brazilian model Camila Alves, and they have three children together.

Kathryn Hahn’s role in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” marked her feature film debut. She went on to have a successful career in both film and television, appearing in movies like “Step Brothers” and “Bad Moms,” as well as the popular TV series “Parks and Recreation.” Hahn gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Agnes/Agatha Harkness in Disney+’s “WandaVision” and is set to lead a spinoff series called “Coven of Chaos.”

Bebe Neuwirth, who played a role in the film, has had an illustrious theater career, winning two Tony Awards for her performances in “Sweet Charity” and “Chicago.” She was previously married to Paul Dorman and later married Chris Calkins in 2009.
