Nothing says Christmastime at Walt Disney World like a Mickey Mouse Gingerbread Cookie! You can find this with the returning Red Velvet Whoopie Pie at Trolley Car Café in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This is your basic gingerbread cookie. It is slightly dry on the inside, but still a soft cookie. You definitely taste some spice.
While it’s nothing special, this is still a cute cookie to enjoy during the holiday season!
Red Velvet Cake, candy cane buttercream, and holiday sprinkles
A holiday twist on the classic carrot cake cookie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this red velvet whoopie pie evokes the red and green colors of Christmas, filled with peppermint-candy cane frosting.
The top is covered with powdered sugar for a snowy look.
The peppermint frosting isn’t too dense and is very sweet rather than overpowering. It pairs with the light and fluffy cake perfectly.
We absolutely recommend giving this a try, although you should probably eat it with a fork and knife lest you get powdered sugar and red food coloring stains everywhere.
The Holiday Whoopie Pie is available at The Trolley Car Café and Backlot Express.
